Climate change has made summers getting excruciatingly hot all through the world; as global average temperatures have been increasing steadily in the last 150 years. As individuals is an initiative we can take to help our planet and ourselves during these summers and that is to start investing wisely. The key to summer clothing as I have always seen it is to always be wearing light, airy, durable and earth-friendly fabrics with breathable silhouettes to stay cool and happy during the sweltering heat!
It’s been over a year now that I’ve switched to ethical beauty and fashion, and although the transformation has been slow, I now love the feel of my clothes and skin care more than ever. The world is definitely getting more aware of sustainable living with swap parties being held, second-hand street fairs and a new niche of luxury sustainable boutiques seem to have appeared all over.
Lately, many people are switching to organic beauty (including me), however, finding the right natural products for your skin type takes time and money.
In the meantime, I started making my own DIYs beauty treatments, which are absolutely natural and organic. The only downside is they don’t last long so you can’t store them for months. Instead, make them in small batches. Not only do they totally work but it’s a great and a highly satisfying knowing what exactly you are using on your skin and as well as seeing the effects! These are the top 4 you need to try!

A 2010 study, published in the scientific journal Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, used linguistic analysis software to measure the way 60 individuals discussed their homes. The researchers also found that women with cluttered homes expressed higher levels of the stress hormone cortisol.

Wedding Bells – A Brides Story !
Published by TrendPrive Magazine
I think I confused all my friends, as I got married a year ago with a beautiful civil ceremony at our home and decided to have my wedding reception this January, almost a year later! I was quite against all the glam and show and wanted to keep things simple, however, that didn’t really seem realistic (Indian Weddings!), so I included a Buddhist wedding in the series of ceremonies, as that was the one thing I truly wanted.
Christmas is the time for giving, right? Completely disagree! Everyday should be a day for giving however in the spirit of Christmas, a festival I totally love – not only due to the carols, gifts and feasts at Xmas it’s always been a tradition in my house lay out gifts below our tree!
So this year I got gifts from all over the world which I will share just so we can get some ethical presents into our loved ones stockings all through the year!
